ANTEVRA homepage: stone background, condensed wordmark, headline 'Made for the distance between places' and a black sneaker with an orange sole.

Fictional label, real storefront build.

Context

ANTEVRA is positioned as experimental urban footwear: technical construction without performance-brand cosplay. The brief asked for three things to be excellent: the homepage art direction, the product page, and a fast purchase path on a phone.

What was built

An editorial homepage, a filterable shop, a deep product page with a real turntable image sequence, search with Persian normalisation, saved items, a persistent bag and a checkout that is deliberately disabled, because nothing is for sale.

Product imagery is rendered from the project's own parametric model, and every route exists in English and Persian.

Decisions that shaped it

  1. 01

    State in the URL

Filters, sort and search live in the URL, so links, refresh and back/forward all behave.

  2. 02

    Motion with a budget

180–240 ms for controls, 450–700 ms for editorial moments, transform and opacity only, with a stepped fallback for reduced motion.

  3. 03

    Accessible by default

Native radios for sizes and colours, a proper search combobox, focus-trapped dialogs, live announcements, and automated accessibility checks in the test suite.

What I learned

A fictional brand still needs real constraints. Deciding what the store would never do (payments, accounts, 3D) is what made the rest excellent.
